The Great American Run, became one of the best events of the summer as well as the year. There were many different vehicles there, but none stood out more than the Molly Saleen hot pink Ford Mustang. For those who aren’t up to speed, Molly Saleen is Steve Saleen’s daughter.

The hot pink Mustang starts with looks and ends with performance. The pretty-in-pink “Molly-Pop” Saleen S281-SC Ford Mustang packs quite the punch: just over 500hp coupled with 475 lb-ft of torque, which was plenty to power the sled through plenty of full-throttle roadway excitement during the event.

The motorcade rally parades across the entire United States landscape, from the east coast to Los Angeles, and features several detours away from the main path in order to test both driver and car in several mystery challenges. It’s certain that these events will fully test and tax the driver as well as the machine.

It’s dazzling good looks and vibrant color are very hard to overlook. Twenty-five Saleen S281 Extreme Mustangs also participated, donning identical black-on-black paint and graphics packages. The only “color” these cars exhibit will be their gilded production numbers.
