Maserati?s Future Looks Bright
Maserati has had some hard times. In Q2 2006 they lost an amount of almost €7 million in profit. They are hoping this year to make things right and so far things are looking up for them. In the second quarter of this year, Maserati earned a €1 million trading profit. That may not include special items, which could in fact either decrease or even increase this amount.
Many people are amazed that the Italian exotic automaker was able to make this kind of money without any help. The help we refer to comes from the GranTuriso touring coupe that is coming soon. When the vehicle finally does arrive it will help the company for the rest of the year. Another vehicle that has already helped them and will continue to is the Maserati Quattroporte Automatic. This has improved their sales by 40%.
Maserati will not have to fear another year of downfall. Between the Quattroporte, the GranTurismo, and another cabriolet in production they will have no problems convincing consumers to turn to them for their next vehicle.
