The 2007 Chrylser Nassau concept car will be shown for the very first time at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit this January. Chrysler stated that the Nassau four-door concept is a four-door luxury “coupe” that has an emphasis on driving dynamics.
The styling cues on the exterior are indications of themes the company is exploring for future vehicles, it adds, and notes that the concept “highlights sweeping curves to define the front and rear fasciae.”
When looking back to the once and again military-only Hummer H1, GM has decided to cut a really big hole in the roof of an H3 and cover it with fabric. Unlike the circus-tent canvas top of the original Hummer, the Hummer H3 Open Top Concept is not a true convertible with a two-acre top, but an H3 with a merely half-acre cloth sunroof.
Mercedes-Benz unvieled the stunningly elegant and modern Concept Ocean Drive, an ultra-luxury four-door convertible. The debut was held on a full ice skating rink that Mercedes-Benz created in Cobo Hall to celebrate 100 years of all-wheel-drive vehicles from Mercedes.
Today Mercedes offers one of the most complete lines of all-wheel-drive vehicles of any manufacturer and each model line was featured driving on the ice, including the new S-Class 4MATIC and the new E-Class 4MATIC, along with hockey players, figure skaters and even a dogsled. The S-Class 4MATIC features the fourth-generation 4MATIC for the first time.
