BMW India has been having a great year with all the great vehicles that they have been releasing. Consumers are loving the selection, but they will be even more excited when the brand new X5 is released in November.
“We have increased our sales target by 200 cars, buoyed by the encouraging market response,” BMW India president, Peter Kronschnabl told media here on Monday. The German premium car-maker started its India operations in March this year with a plant in Chennai. It had set a target of 1,000 cars to be sold in six cities in the country.
BMW is making a stand and joining the competition in the diesel world by making a luxury 520d turbo-diesel sedan, which is set to arrive in November of this year. The 520d will be using the high-torque, four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that boasts powerful and spirited performance along with ultra-low fuel consumption and exhaust emissions.
